The Cashier BOXX is designed for facilities where a cashier processes transactions at a staffed lane. The unit puts full payment handling — cash, cards, mobile — in the cashier's control while CloudEASE captures every transaction automatically. The result is the service level of an attended booth with the reporting accuracy of an automated system.
Full Payment Handling
The cashier can accept cash (with change calculation displayed for accuracy), credit cards (EMV chip and contactless tap), debit cards, and mobile wallet payments. The cashier-facing display shows the transaction total, payment received, and change due — eliminating calculation errors and reducing transaction time.
Ticket and Permit Processing
The Cashier BOXX reads barcoded entry tickets to retrieve the entry time and calculate the parking fee from CloudEASE's rate schedule. Monthly permit holders present their credential — RFID card, barcode, or plate — and the Cashier BOXX validates access without a payment transaction. Validation codes from merchants and employers are entered or scanned to apply discounts before payment.
Shift Reporting and Reconciliation
CloudEASE logs every transaction with the operator ID, timestamp, payment method, and ticket number. Shift reports generate automatically — no paper logs, no manual tally. At shift end, the cashier or manager runs a shift summary from the CloudEASE dashboard: total transactions, cash total, card total, validations, and any override actions. This detail supports fast cash drawer reconciliation and full audit trail compliance.
